Long before launching Rest Nest Apparel, Tara returned to her creative roots and rekindled her love for art and illustration. Over the years, she refined her skills in digital illustration and comics, transforming her passion into a craft.

After becoming a mother to two boys, Tara was driven by a desire to build something meaningful for her family. It was around this time that life threw her family a curveball. Due to circumstances beyond their control, they had to leave their home in a housing market that felt impossible to navigate.

In the middle of that uncertainty, Tara’s mom, her boys’ loving grandma, opened her home and her heart to them. That time together was a gift they didn’t know they needed. It reminded Tara of how deeply grandparents shape the fabric of a family, through love, generosity, and the little ways they make life sweeter.

That’s why today, Rest Nest Apparel is more than a clothing company, it’s a community focused on celebrating grandparents and the joy they bring, not just to their grandkids, but to their whole family.
